I don't feel much like celebrating today
I just wanna lay in a field of flowers & stare at the sky & dream that I exist in a world where people don't inflict pain on each other for no other reason than greed

In Diamond Valley
Heard a wise man say
"This world is hopeless
Gotta love it anyway"
And soon you will get
All that love in return

It's a beautiful day for a beautiful day. This shot is from my walk around Twin Lakes Park in Greensburg, PA the other day. Early morning sun over the ridge line in the background highlighting a blossoming crabapple tree in the foreground.

Listen here, my dear
I promise
The shadows of fear
Will disappear
When the sun comes up
(Tomorrow)
This is only temporary
Despair
while, understandable,
is unnecessary
Hope and love
are how we survive

Why were we put here? What for? We're unsure
We sure weren't put here to hate
Be racist, be sexist, be bigots, be sure
We won't stand for your hate

Some days, it doesn't matter how many lyrics you have running through your head, none of them seem to be able to sum up what's going on. Those days, I like to just let the music do the talking. So here's a link to a beautiful instrumental from hands-down the best all-around musician i can say I personally know, he goes by Six O'Matic, check him out. Give him a follow.

Tell your Story ⬇️
What’s in a story? Everything under the sun and moon. When we sit with the fire, words waft like ashes rising from flames joining the stars above. They are our own personal records of time here on earth. How many times have you heard a story and said that happened to me too or I feel those words. We need to honor ourselves and the roots where we came from because our voices are paths to understanding and having empathy for each other’s journey on this planet. We all go through the same things, just at different times. I hope this simple idea of sitting around a campfire and sharing stories ignites friendships, experiences and growth of our communities, but most of all, knowing we are not alone as long as the fire glows and we take a seat. Always be safe and happy, see you in March ~ “if the creek don’t rise” p m gibbs

Rebelution - Good Vibes

Don't judge a book by the cover
People take a look at the world and discover
That beauty is the word that I think of when I see the different colors of skin
And I'll rejoice and sing for them

No more turning away
From the weak and the weary
No more turning away
From the coldness inside
Just a world that we all must share

It's not enough just to stand and stare
Is it only a dream that there'll be
No more turning away?
