Medina's Council just adopted this slate of emergency housing regulations on a 5-1 vote, ramping up setbacks and stepbacks and eliminating a density bonus program that the city adopted less than a year ago to comply with HB 1110.
Oh my god. Medina is set to adopt an emergency ordinance adding a bunch of restrictions to prevent "housing that burdens the other residents with noise, light, and loss of privacy."
They include a ban on yard fountains that can be heard from neighboring properties & interior lights in vacant homes.
