#strengthsfinder
I've heard Myers-Briggs, Ennegram, StrengthsFinder, etc. referred to as "astrology for business majors" and yep.

strengthsfinder is just expensive hogwarts houses

sorry boss but I don’t think this strengthsfinder assessment has really captured my raw sexual energy

Nobody gets mad if you know your business astrology (Meyers Briggs, Strengthsfinder, etc) stats and that shit is way more pernicious

Tired of Law/Chaos, Good/Evil, I once made an alignment system that used Myers-Briggs. Honestly, I've found it more useful than a lot of the "personality sorters." (Most egregious for me in a business environment was the Clifton Strengthsfinder assessment.)
Is Myers-Briggs a scam?

None of you need this information on my strengths.

StrengthsFinder : 2026 :: Enneagram : 2006

(may not (?) apply to contexts beyond the world of Catholic ministerial formation)

Don't leave things unowned around me. "Responsibility" is my top Strengthsfinder skill. If I find something important that no one is looking after, I will ADOPT it like a broody hen given a goose egg. No matter how inappropriate, no one else was taking care of it, so it's mine to hatch now!

I remember having to do an office retreat around the Clifton StrengthsFinder, wherein I called it “corporate catnip” and pseudoscientific nonsense to the chagrin of the managers. Of course they only saw this as a manifestation of my “type”…

Grateful to have an employer that provides me with a leadership coach and a boss that requires me to have one. I'm filling out a self-assessment. After mostly finishing I checked my 12-year-old StrengthsFinder assessment. SURPRISE, it's very consistent. (Also, grad school was 12 whole years ago?!)

For anyone who knows me and knows Gallup StrengthsFinder, do you find these results surprising? I don’t lol

David, that's just your [insert Inner Saboteur type] talking. You need to listen to your [Clifton StrengthsFinder Top 5 Strengths]!

Gallup has been moving out of general public opinion polling for some time and doing presidential approval just puts a target on them. They do more corporate consulting (think Strengthsfinder) more now.
Gallup will no longer measure presidential approval after 88 years thehill.com/homenews/med...

For the entrepreneur who wears a lot of hats, wants the biz to grow, and is need to hire, make sure you know your strengths (Assessment - Gallop StrengthsFinder) and book Now Go Put Your Strengths To Work. Make sure you don’t hire for something you love to do. #entrepreneuership #strengthsfinder
I realized yesterday while talking to small business owners about growth challenges they are experiencing, that I read a lot of books. I recommended several that were closely aligned with their challenges. #smallbusiness #businessbooks

When I was in my early 20s I had to do strengthsfinder for work and it literally told me “you struggle with interpersonal skills and to make up for that you use your intellect and large vocabulary to discourage people from getting close to you”

I have a fairly antagonistic relationship with most workplace fake psychometrics thing, but I think my least favorite is actually StrengthsFinder rather than Myers-Briggs. (StrengthsFinder is the only personality test I seriously thought I might fail while taking it.)
we were once given a Myers-Briggs session and they guy asked if anyone knew about it and a woman said she did and thought it was rubbish; he asked what her experience was and she said “a PhD in psychology and a master’s in hr management” and he carried on with the session anyway, which was funny
I refused to do a management course at Which? because it involved Myers Briggs garbage. The trainer rang me to ask why I didn't want to do it, so I told her it's evidence-free bullshit and about as useful as knowing I'm a Sagittarius Hufflepuff. She wasn't very happy 😁😁

Because a friend asked me to give feedback on their Clifton StrengthsFinder for a class assignment, so I decided to take it myself. I swear, every time I take one of these assessments, I feel like a narcissistic sociopath because I never have any strengths related to people 😂
