I'm not sure it's possible for Marvel to be forward-looking at this point. Everything about this is looking backwards - the Robert Downey Jr. stuntcasting, the Singer X-men, the focus on a huge list of known names returning to reprise their characters... out the gate it's not its own movie.

I don’t understanding the point of stuntcasting big name actors for animated movies. There is not a single person on the planet who went to a Mario movie because of Chris Pratt or Donald Glover. I am not saying anyone can do it, but you could have hired a professional voice actor at a fraction.

Der Film repliziert unironisch Agismus und Lookismus (inkl. Stuntcasting) und alle tun so, als wäre das Satire. Und die craazy Idee in der finalen halben Stunde, die die Leute so gefeiert haben, passiert bei nem ordentlichen Bodyhorror nach etwa 35 Minuten und anschließend geht es erst richtig rund.
