Worms are getting a new, bigger Subpod home today. Almost everything is out of the garden bed and I'm taking a short break. 🌱🪱

Playing around with making my first post, making it shared only with folks who are known followers. Limited like twitter (only 300 characters allowed)

Anyway, I'm happy to report my garden is largely full of sour grass, but also artichokes, which are well fed next to SubPod worm composting!

That was far more work than I anticipated, but hopefully the worms are happy in their new home. 🌱🪱

I went to bed late and missed most of today's stream, but that doesn't mean it doesn't still get the gears moving! I also learned that Atlantis: The Lost Empire had a tie-in game.

Sea Buns aren't know to be very good submariners.

The Ancients, hosted by Tristan Hughes. Subpod of History Hit.

I checked, that episode was just a couple days ago.

looks like I misread, and it's not T036A Leland's pod, it's the subpod of her daughter T036A1/Tierna and Tierna's two calves (A1A Drift born 2022 and presumed A1B the new one). So T137/Loon + her niece T036A1/Tierna, and no T137A/Jack (but apparently T065A5/Indy was with them today in Carr).

Thanks for the tip! Road trip to Runnings with the 🐶 tomorrow for some mittens! I bought one of those SubPod things last year but the thought of the poor worms freezing…it’s still in the box, lol.

Update: Your Hero starts new job, first week of July..

The weekly subpod rentals till we can get into a new place will drown us...

Just taking it day by day as all that we can do.

Life is way shitty but still grateful because it can always be worse.

Keep shining tribe 💠

I sort of assumed they would not freeze, but the composter (Subpod) has vent holes above ground level, so freezing air will most definitely get in.

By the way, I have some knowledge to offer you in return.
Google Lake Powell database
Then Google
The level at which Lake Powell can no longer produce electricity.
Then do the math.
Also, Google
California subpod desalinization.
It will go worldwide.
It may be a good investment opportunity.

I recommend in-ground vermicomposting. Surprisingly fast, no stink, but you're sort of at the mercy of worms wrt spreading. We had the subpod mini at our old place and loved it, got the big one when we moved but it looks like they're sort of in transition rn.
