In fact, in most states (including Mullin's home state of Oklahoma), a 50-yr old smoker can be charged up to 163% more than a 25-yr old non-smoker.
Ironically, in Tulsa, OK, guess which insurance carrier is CHOOSING to only charge a 1% tobacco surchage even though they're legally allowed up to 50%.

Pourquoi ne pas dire que c'est bénéfique à tous, en 1er lieu les malades chroniques si vous voulez, à la limite, que ça évite la surchage des lieux de soins, des décès, des déclenchements de maladies chroniques de toute sorte (COVID long, décompensations, etc), des absences au travail ?

I keep going back to it but the coalition mandated a lifetime 9% income tax surchage for many graduates & all but forced employees/employers contribute 8% of salary to pensions for all employees earning 10K or more. And yet we all shriek in horror at the idea of increasing income tax by 1%!
