Let’s pause and reflect 💭 The end of the year can feel like a sprint… but what if we slowed down + honored what worked? What made you feel proud as a math teacher this year? ✨ You’ve grown — your students have too. That matters. 🧡

#TeacherReflection: I fell into the reading skills trap. I want Ss to have skills to engage any text, but I lost joy of exploring full texts as a class. We read R&J or short novel & Ss self-select full novels, but I have noticed joy being drained. I’m changing some things again this year!

Recently became a National Board Certified Teacher.

It feels like both a milestone & a responsibility. The process strengthened my reflection & reminded me that excellent teaching is never static. When teachers continue to grow, students benefit most.

The question we should keep asking at the end of every school year: What actually stayed?

That's where change lives.

That's where schools stop being stagnant and start breathing.
