the dark money creep wasn't gonna win the Senate seat. the Senate seat was winnable with Tester or Bullock or perhaps another smart Dem not getting screwed over by Tester via Bodnar. extremely unsurprising to me that Alme looks like he would've won with a plurality regardless, had it Safe R always

it would have been a nailbiter but Tester would have had a punters chance if he wanted back.

On non-transgender stuff, the decision to run an Independent in Seth Bodnar by Tester and allies in Montana "because a Dem can't win there" was a horrific self-own.
Had Bodnar run as a Democrat, we'd have a Democratic senator in Montana.
But they had to get cute with it and play games.
