Well not so tired that I after coffee and cakes I couldn’t exercise on my bike for 15 minutes…
To the music of JS Bach “The Art of the Fugue”. Perfect!

morninglistening to #HansZender conducting the @dsoberlin in #JSBach's TheArtOfTheFugue arr. 4 Orchestra by FritzStiedry, a fine performance that made it into DG's "Bach333" box from its Koch/Schwann origins.

#morninglistening to #JSBach's #TheArtOfTheFugue on DG. I'm not the greatest EmersonQuartet fan. But it comes all together here. I LOVE this recording. At least as satisfying as the KellerQuartet's (ECM) gold standard.

#morninglistening to #JohannSebastianBach's TheArtOfTheFugue w/#VladimirFeltsman on Nimbus. Feltsman is always a very good, safe choice in Bach, even as I might prefer Koroliev over all. TAotF is perhaps not his most inspired Bach album but he certainly never missteps. Favorite versions, anyone?
