I never thought about processed foods much, until I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Now, I have to be more careful. The overprocessing can cause a Thryoid attack.

Anything about the results. So what was the point of doing a thryoid panel, idk. I have to imagine I've had this condition at least a decade before it was caught and from what I understand that isnt good. But I did make an appointment in july with a specialist for this coming week, thankfully

The other thing I've got to do later is to get my wedding ring off with some olive oil. I doubt they'll do an MRI tomorrow but if they want to I'd better be ready. Since my thryoid treatment I've put on a good 7 lbs in weight (not complaining) but it means my fingers have got fatter 😬

Your 'leverage as a consumer' is really quite limited when you absolutely must take a drug in order to not die.
Whether this is insulin for type 1 diabetes, thryoid hormone replacement or ARVs for HIV.
We're not talking coffee mugs or pickup trucks here

I am assuming you've been tested for all kinds of chronic diseases, thryoid conditions, Crohn's disease, etc. I just hope this clears up.

Your aunt must be mine, because same thing. Also her son, my cousin, nearly dying because he got Covid and was already suffering from thryoid issues he never got looked at for years.

Ran out of my thryoid meds on sat and got my refill yesterday, and lmao. woke up today and I'm pretty sure my hashimoto's is flaring up, whoopsies!

Endo told me to stop the beta blocker.
*weak hooray* That med was ruining my life. Hopefully I don’t ever have to use it again.
Dialing down the thryoid med too.
Now we wait and see. And do labs even more often.
If nothing else, let this get me off the soda/coffee diet. I feel crummy enough! 😵
