E, novamente, no mundo todo a esquerda tá falhando em oferecer outras possibilidades, viraram os verdadeiros guardiões do TINAG (não há alternativa) neoliberal e não querem aceitar que isso não é suficiente. Como em 2013, ficam repetindo "pleno emprego", sem ver que, qualitativamente, a vida piora.

I just found an absolutely refreshing creator who makes small ARG projects, then produces short video essay-style explainers on them as if they weren't the creator. The TINAG vibes are strong and exciting, and the actual projects themselves are interdisciplinary in nature. Worth a watch at least!

I believe the dream of TINAG is kept alive by newcomers who all, very understandably! are first simply mesmerised by the concept. If you stick around you'll see why it didn't quite work – and why it's not just a bad thing that we've moved on.

@mikepohjola.bsky.social This is a huge takeaway for me, yes. TINAG has always annoyed me for ARGs and it's refreshing to see such a direct counter to that in Nordic LARPs.

TINAG by Dave Szulborski is def in the reread list, because it never fails to reignite my passion for what ARGs are and can do. So is Maps & Legends by Michael Chabon (highly recommend— also it will convince you that Sherlock Holmes is the original ARG). A handful of Kobold Guides are in there, too.

I was one of the founders of the company that did it! Momentum was still clearly a larp, but Conspiracy For Good that we made later was much more in the ARG territory. And I'd say it was after that when we decided to abandon TINAG.
