Anyone remember when the Spectator put out an article condemning RRR for being too mean about the British empire written by a man named Rob Tombs?
The BBC's Latin America and Carribbean editor being named Vanessa Buschschlüter is a little bit on the fucking nose, is it not?

Never give up.
You won't ever finish crafting your cursed crown of ancient bones until you get out there, wander through twilight forests, and follow ghosts to their mossy forgotten tombs.

Tombs in China, 5,000 years old, may have had a ceremonial hall beside them. Archaeologists reconstructed 3 buildings from 120 postholes, the largest standing 49 feet tall.

Imagine building a 49-foot hall for Gramps just to make sure he gets the proper send-off. Respect 🫡

It's Random Fact Wednesday!!
Did you know the classic rolling boulder and spike traps are mostly fiction? Real ancient tombs almost never had working booby (heh) traps. What did exist were clever sealing stones and, in one Chinese emperor’s case, liquid mercury rivers!

OC-tober Day 13

Aena the Panther
Coming from a long line of priestesses she ran away and continues the family's work by raiding tombs to soothe the tormented souls that might curse others. Her hand markings are cursed with good and bad luck that she harnesses.

I dunno, given that Tombs and Biggar have completely turned into grumpy, conservative, borderline intolerant assholes, I'm not sure they're here to stay.
