Attended another workshop, and this time I remembered a couple progress photos before getting absorbed in just making. It went from a rectangle to a WAND!

A long rectangle of wood held on a lathe. The same piece of wood on the lathe, now starting to become round and tapered towards one end. LOTS of saw dust. The wand after being shaped, sanded, and polished, still on the lathe. So. Much. Sawdust. The finished wand! It has a rounded end, a convex hand hold, and three decorative bumps (already forgot the technical term).

Since I haven't been able to travel, I've been trying to satisfy my travel itch by cooking food from other places/cultures around the world.

This week I made the Greek version of mousaka. It was so delicious!! Very pleased with the result. ☺️
