Back in 2004 at TypeMedia, I was busy with a puzzle — looking for historical styles in three scripts that could form a natural unity inside one typeface, without forced stylisation.
This is how Basileus appeared.

This probably shows that it's not a straightforward logical rule that clear UI means success :) DTL has its perfect reputation in type design and its own client circle, built in ways we don't perfectly know :) Frank taught us at TypeMedia course, I know a bit.

Agnieszka graduated in 2025 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland. Through type design she is able to combine her interests in history, anthropology, and design and dreams of one day enrolling in the TypeMedia programme.
