2. Ms. Yokoyama's school is Ukedo Elementary School. What happened is once kids got outside, staff had kids walk west. Trucks (of locals) met the kids at some point. Kids were put in truck beds & driven further west. All kids & staff were safe that day.

It's included on the bus tours, but I didn't take a bus tour. I went by train to closest station, then took taxi. (I think there may be a cheaper shuttle bus, too.)
