No. ☔

It amuses me that people say they can't bike because of weather but there are always more drivers on sunny days. #umbrellabike #leavethecarathome #cargobikes #climateaction #ebikes

kid doing math homework on the way home from school while I'm doing #ebikes engineering. Something is wrong with this g311 motor recently, or the kid is just getting too big for it.

Such a hassle, you need special tools and a lift to work on anything under the hood of #evs

I had to spend dozens of dollars to get this thing in the air.

#30daysofbiking I took the #umbrellabike from Hillsdale to Beaverton and the passenger from Beaverton to the craft store to Hillsdale. It was misty, but not really raining until the return trip and then it finished before we got home. #cargobikes #ebikes #pdxbikes #pdxtst

#bikenite A5 my #ebikes / #cargobikes are all quite different and 3 are "projects" in various states of motor/battery completion/capability. @enobacon I've just been browsing through your #umbrellabike posts. That does look neat!
I get what you mean about capes being good for just falling rain. Here it does tend to be a bit breezy too, although I can usually choose more sheltered routes.

@Steffi rain cape (bike-specific poncho) works well for falling rain, less well if it's blowing sideways or if you're just riding fast into it. My #umbrellabike is a bakfiets with rain canopy on top, which gives good frontal coverage, combined with a rain cape and wool pants for most of the […]

@HayiWena 😀 aw, shucks, that old thing? 😆 I got the regen braking motor for a 2nd motor on the #umbrellabike, but 2/3 passengers were a "very No" on riding in the front bucket/canopy, so I scrounged this #bikefriday up off of craigslist and gave it that #grinmac so it wouldn't burn through rims […]

Sometimes you just need to plug everything together and see it spin.

Next step in the #umbrellabike #ebikes project. #BikeTooter #bikenite A8
