im just obsessed with urbanscapes as a collective museum of impressions left behind by those who inhabit them. cities as alive things that breathe and have hearts and veins and who love the people inside them. infrastructure that had purpose long left to the elements once it was past its usefulness

I often think about how the increased housing density in Seattle is creating a heat island effect. More housing is good, but the attendent destruction of our trees is bad, and increased hardscape on sloping hills is problematic.
