In general, the reason you would want to specially bar hate speech against specific groups is because that group is facing a lot of hate: they're being targeted.

But here in VichyAmerica, we remove groups from these lists based mostly on lots of people really really wanting to target that group.

The future of MAGA after Trump can go in two directions. The most likely scenario is that MAGA weakens and fades. The movement is too dependent on Trump. Unlike neoconservatism, which has a structured ideology, MAGA is built entirely around Trump’s personality. Once he is out of the political scene, the movement will struggle to survive. Many Republican politicians only support Trump out of fear fear of losing elections, fear of his base. Without him, they will have no reason to continue pushing MAGA. This could lead to a Republican identity crisis, but one thing is clear: the neocons will not sit back and do nothing. Figures like George W. Bush, Karl Rove, Paul Ryan, and Mitch McConnell still hold deep influence within the party. After a period of internal instability, they will likely reclaim control of the GOP, pushing MAGA to the sidelines. Even politicians like Marco Rubio, Ron DeSantis, and possibly Ted Cruz who have aligned with Trump may eventually distance themselves from MAGA and return to the neoconservative wing of the party. Paul Ryan, a young and highly capable former Speaker of the House, should not be overlooked either. I see him as someone with a strong chance of running for president in the future and potentially reclaiming the White House for traditional Republicans. The second scenario is that MAGA survives without Trump. For that to happen, a new leader would have to emerge with the same level of influence as Trump, but no one currently has that level of control over the Republican base. Another wave of populist anger would have to keep the movement alive, and the Republican Party would need to fully embrace MAGA as its permanent identity rather than trying to return to a more traditional conservative platform. While this scenario is possible, I find the first one far more likely.
