There was also a reasonable shower this afternoon, which was very welcome. Considerately, and unusually, it waited until after the Dolgellau carnival parade.

Beans were widely cultivated in Europe, Africa, and Asia before the Columbian exchange though.. particularly the genus Viciafaba. And then asia of course has a spectacular variety of native beans
