getting my booster shot today and i’m being so brave about not going into waitmode

So now I am in waitmode for three referral visits.

Hematology — White bloodcell testing (I have abnormally high levels).

Immunology — MCAS testing (my body acts like its allergic to life).

Genetic Specialist — EDS testing.

I hope these three referrals help me figure shit out finally.

What I do when in stressed-out waitmode:

- Read a comfort book.

- Watch a comfort movie (for me, this is usually Titanic; no matter what I'm going thru, at least I'm not on a sinking ship in the North Atlantic)

- Minecraft. Survival mode, start from scratch, survive thru first few nights.

Part two of this was the replacement machine being sent 7am-7pm today.

So my brain activated WaitMode™️ and didn’t let me sleep AT ALL last night! You know… JUST in case they came early in the time slot and I was too sleepy to hear them?

They did in fact arrive at 7:30am… I’m so tired 💀

lmao its okay me neither 😭 im not waiting for anything tbh im just doing my internship during the week so i guess waitmode is me waiting for another day to do free labor but tbf im kinda enjoying it but im also tired of being out everyday bc i work on the weekends at the same place 😭😭

the trick so I still get some stuff done. I can't afford to be out of commission on all the self imposed deadlines and IBNU's. So hoping to tap into the collective wisdom here What if anything do you still do during waitmode? Do we see any unifying characteristics?
