🇪🇹 Trade talks at Ethiopia’s Hub of Africa Fashion Week. The 14th edition of the annual designer showcase took place from Jan. 22-26 in the capital Addis Ababa. VimpelCom and Global Telecom’s Pakistan unit Mobilink is set to merge with Warid Telecom, controlled by Abu Dhabi’s Dhabi group, the first merger in the country’s telecom sector. The new entity will serve 45 million customers.

The country’s four largest mobile operators – Mobilink, Telenor, China Mobile and PTCL – have signed up for Pakistan’s forthcoming auction of 3G and 4G spectrum, according to the country’s regulator. The auction is set to start next week (23 April).
