AO3 is a terrible site to find anything in original fiction. There's so much good, or at least enjoyable, webfic and web trans lit out there on the internet that reading fan fiction of capitalist slop franchises as an adult just seems so sad and self infantalizing.

There's a webfic called Katalepsis that hits all the same shit this is doing, but in actual serial format with no need to concern itself about length, density or pacing beyond each individual segment, & by god it does just *work* when you do it like that.

It's kind of refreshing how Nanoha Gunblaze was barely watchable garbage with a finale made from stale cheap bread in a way much older than the fifteen or so Kadokawa parallel world webfic adaptations surrounding it.
