It's great that this is now being uncovered, and heartwarming that WhatDoTheyKnow played a small part in helping source some of the information for the investigation.

We have asked @mysociety.org to add the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee to Whatdotheyknow - so anyone can FoI them publicly.

Meanwhile, you can use writetothem.com to pressure your local MSs to take action. This shouldn't be swept under the rug.

🗣️ Tell them an inquiry is needed NOW.

The only difference seems to be that the other requester has used WhatDoTheyKnow

The Council has clearly failed to comply with section 11(1A) of the FOI Act, and possibly also the applicant-blind principle
August 7, 2026 at 6:08 PM
That's correct. All responses go back to the applicant.

WhatDoTheyKnow has an email address per question which orgs respond to - that's how it links to the right page on the website.

Some organisations then publish to gov.uk, some to their own disclosure log/platform, some don't publish anything.
