According to Whiskybase, it's a release for the Russian market. As to what grain was used, it could be anything. Especially as they don't own a grain distillery, they'll be sourcing it for blends etc.

I have three single casks, two ex-bourbon and one ex-sherry. Not found of the ex-sherry but the ex-bourbs (an old one for RMW and one for whiskybase) are sublime. The winter and summer releases are not at that level.

Whiskybase seem to be pretty positive so hopefully not a dud. Fingers crossed you get a mini dram with it too!
