I'm developing a bridge to allow agents to interact with my Windbg session. I tested it with an old dump, the agent ran a bunch of commands and immediately crashed Windbg. So now we're debugging Windbg.

I'm getting convinced that I shouldn't risk playing BeamNG ever again - this time malware was found in a mod I used in the past (American Road). I wonder if this shellcode hardcodes addresses from libbeamng.dll...

I'm getting convinced that I shouldn't risk playing BeamNG ever again - this time malware was found in a mod I used in the past (American Road). I wonder if this shellcode hardcodes addresses from libbeamng.dll...

The way WinDbg, a low-level debugging tool for programmers, is now a Microsoft Store app, even if you download it from the web, which in turn means it has an obfuscated and ever-changing path, which you cannot find easily (you need admin rights just to list the folder; it has no start menu shortcut)

(At least, it will on Linux. It caused Windows on my ThinkPad to lock up very, very hard. I wish I could've attached windbg to figure out why.)
