Most "jailbreaks" are just exploiting the beam search sampling process. Over 90% of prompt injections in 2024 rely on forcing certain token probability spikes that bypass the safety layer's alignment training. It's statistics, not magic. #LLM #ReverseEngineering

AOSP no longer includes Pixel device trees in Android 16. Custom ROM projects lose the reference trees that simplified device bring-up. GrapheneOS estimates weeks of added work per device. https://bsky.app/profile/grapheneos.org/post/3mznz4b5jbs2q #reverseengineering #gamedev
GrapheneOS (@grapheneos.org)
Pixels used to be officially supported by the Android Open Source Project. Android 16 dropped Pixel support and they're now much harder to support than many other devices. We have to do a lot of reverse engineering and backport QPR1/QPR3 Pixel firmware/drivers for proper updates.

Did you know that using Activation Addition within an LLM—adding the vector of a "honest" truthfulness dataset to the model's hidden states—can force the model to be more truthful without retraining? It’s a surgical alternative to RLHF. #LLM #ReverseEngineering
