Got a grail item, an employee badge from Wonder Eggs, the 1st video game theme park built by Namco in 1992. To put it in perspective; imagine living in Japan today & scoring a Disneyland employee badge from 1955. #wondereggs #themepark #collector streetwriterpodcast.blogspot.com/2025/02/the-...

The kids are going to be alright. @ez3fm.bsky.social really liked the Pyrallis characters from Wonder Eggs. He created his own version called Alister. I had to draw a version in the Namco style to see what it would have looked like. #pyrallis #wondereggs #fanart #illustration #alister #namco
A Pyrallis, a mascot character from the Wonder Eggs theme park. They have wings, and a shaped tail. This one is an original character by Isaiah. I redrew it in the style of the old Namco illustrators. This character is orange with a heart shaped tail.

I added the @ez3fm.bsky.social character Alister, and the mechanical Pyrallis to an old illustration. You can see how seamless they work with the other mascots. If you want to find out more about them check out my blog. #pyrallis #wondereggs #namco streetwriterpodcast.blogspot.com/2025/03/the-...
This is an illustration of the Pyrallis mascots from the Namco theme park Wonder Eggs. The four official characters are Alea (purple), Agon (green), Ilinx (fusca), and Mimicry (blue). The fan character Alister (orange) was created by Isaiah. The grey one was an unnamed mechanical Pyrallis from the sister park called the Egg Empire. I called my version Tyche.

In addition to my NiGHTS art I managed to do some Oswald pieces, Pyrallis & Wonder Eggs pieces, and even the Ocean Hunter, WNBA, actor fan art, and skate art. #artsummary2025 #illustrations #wnba #oswaldtheluckyrabbit #wondereggs #pyrallis #skateart #sega #oceanhunter
My collection of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit art. The first was a 98th birthday poster featuring Bosko, Oswald, and Felix the Cat. I also created a Phantom Pete from a Super Famicom Disney game. The third poster features Oswald and Homer the Cat. The last is a photoillustration featuring Oswald painting the mural where the TV series is being filmed.

Started designing pins for each pyrallis in the style of the Wonder Eggs employee badge. I'm sure that I could sell them at Wonder Festival if I lived in Japan. #alea #mimicry #ilinx #agon #namco #wondereggs #themepark #mascots #illustration #art #ピラリス #ワンダーエッグ #ナムコ #アレア #擬態 #ぎょろぎょろ #アゴ #イリンクス
These are pin designs in the style of the employee badges for the Wonder Eggs theme park in Japan. The colorful mascots were called the Pyrallis. They were named after the mascots of play in Roger Callois' philosophy book Man, Play, and Games. The blue one is Mimicry, the green one is Agon, the purple one is Alea, the pink one is Ilinx. The grey one was a robotic one which represented the sister theme park the Egg Empire.

Making sure Wonder Eggs, and the pyrallis never become lost media. I created brand new badges from Vogesey based on the original employee badge. #alea #mimicry #ilinx #agon #namco #wondereggs #themepark #logos #mascots #recreation #illustration #art #ピラリス #ワンダーエッグ #ナムコ #アレア #擬態 #ぎょろぎょろ #アゴ #イリンクス
These are recreations of the employee badge worn at the Namco theme park called Wonder Eggs. Each badge has a white background with a colorful cartoon character called a pyrallis. Each one has a different color. The Pyrallis, the mascots of the park were based on philosopher Roger Caillois' book “Man, Play and Games.” The author explained that there were four types of play, Namco took those concepts and assigned them to mythological characters. Agon the green Pyrallis with a bow and arrow shaped tail, had a stubborn sense of justice, and represented Competition. Ilinx the pink Pyrallis with a propeller shaped tail, was cheerful, funny, and represented Dizziness. Mimicry the blue Pyrallis with a harp shaped tail was shy, gentle, and represented Simulation. Alea the violet Pyrallis with a three pointed pitchfork tail was free-spirited, carefree, and represented Chance. The cybernetic Pyrallis from the Egg Empire were gray colored but were never given names. I took two other concepts from Mr. Callois’ book and named them Tyche (Luck) and Moira (Destiny). I used the fictional language used at the park “Elds’ Character” and put the character names on each badge. I also created custom backs for the badges. The original badge had a safety pin, and clip over a plain white background. The new ones had the clip, and pin as well. I added the symbol of the fantastic Laperot Village, which Namco themed their park after.
