Those fuckers didn’t throw prostate cancer’s presumptive-cancer status into limbo. But thanks to the regime & GOP, if (& more likely, when) I get breast or ovarian cancer after years of wildfire/hazmat smoke exposure, workcomp can give me that sweet sweet FU/death sentence.
Gotta own those libs.

This is why I was put in charge of WorkComp claims when I was a medical biller b/c I was REALLY good at getting them to pay, and all I did was ask for this/other pertinent information.
Also, a tip for WC claimants: make sure your WC appts only have the ICD-10 code(s) for JUST your injury. (cont)

Workcomp is an insurance separate from your employer paid HMO. It pays your medical cost related to injury. It has nothing to do with lawsuits for monetary gains due to permanent injury, pain, and suffering. That's separate.

I make $20hr and pay roughly 17% in Federal take outs including taxes, SS, Med, WorkComp etc in Washington with no state income tax.
If I work in Oregon I pay 24% because of the state income tax plus all federal.

Frontline did a great episode on national HC in 5 countries called “Sick around the World” in 2008. It can be done here if politicians wanted to help us instead of divide us. Count up all premiums paid by corps, individuals, workcomp, car insurances & it is probably more than nat’l HC taxes wld be.

But in 2017, the Cops stupidly Carried OUT These People by their Legs & Arms😱 I didn't know @ #MyocardialBridge until I was 63, I thought I just tended to Faint, but then I couldn't walk, talk & breathe. I was also 100% Disabled at 41yo by WorkComp & SSDI. I had #CRPS=McGillPain9;AVNinLeftHip&Femur

LEFT HIP & FEMUR= 2 surgeries. Plus B4 #ACA so neither W/Comp nor HealthIns would pay for PT! Then after 100% Disabled per #SocSec, #UnivOfCA & #WorkComp, I was home full time. Mostly lying on the bed or couch. Then @ age 60 I couldn't take a breath. After a year, it was diagnosed as a Birth Defect

NM's workcomp system used to distinguish between mental & physical disability. Fixed it years ago, treating illness/injury the same. Might take a look at that.

4) #NotBraining #Starbucks No need for stitches or urgentcare or anything. And I only make my Mgr wrote an incident report if I need to leave for an injury to anywhere. Small cuts don't count. Small burns either. Now when I fell at #MoesSouthwestGrill, REPORTED. #WorkComp for that.
