It’s considered the most iconic yacca in the southwest. Because of its colorful bloom. Orangish yellow represents the Spanish bayonet.
Cool! Bats feed on the blooms at night for its necter.

20251025 Walk amongst the grass trees.
For all the rain it was worth the trip, to be out in nature. Enjoying some different habitat. Worth hiking through again in the future.
