Ignoring the data from the 2021 YRBSS, because COVID lockdowns fucked with the data really robustly, the 2019 YRBSS found that 1.7% of all teens were trans, which means a solid doubling of the trans population in just four years.

ICPSR is making removed data available again. They're looking for BRFSS, ATUS, and YRBSS users to help with metadata efforts.
First, the YRBSS is a REALLY great tool, and it's provided us phenomenal data since the early 1990's. Most of the health and socialinterventions you know about that've done things like reduce teen pregnancy and decrease drug use? They come directly from the findings of the YRBSS.

But I’ve heard from people I trust that CDC has been ordered to scrub their datasets of LGBTQIA identifiers. This is supposed to start tomorrow.
If you rely on gov datasets that have anything to do with this anti-woke witch hunt, I would download a copy ASAP.

The rumor about the impending takedown of all of the CDC's publicly available data sets that contain measures of gender identity allowed people to download and preserve that data in advance. Because of that effort data like YRBSS will remain available in new locations despite being taken down today.
