社会学者ルーマンは、9万枚のカード箱を「対話相手」と呼んだ。カード箱が書き手を驚かせるには、主題別の分類を捨てて固定番地と参照の網で育てる必要があり、網につながらないカードは忘れられる。いっぽう「ツェッテルカステン＝ルーマンの方法」という定義は2007年以降の新しいもので、その前には1548年のゲスナー以来、主題見出しで引くカード式抜き書き帳の長い伝統があった。メディア論の研究書1ページと解説2本を統合する。

Thinking through Turkle's lens (through McLuhan and Postamn), it's not surprising Luhmann, who developed his ideas with a zettelkasten (engaging in asymmetric communication) ended up developing a theory of communication that doesn't require human interlocutors.

Da ich ein großer Bergson Liebhaber bin, habe ich das Zitat gleich einmal geprüft, weil ich es gerne mit Quelle in meinen Zettelkasten aufgenommen hätte, leider keinen Beleg gefunden.
