Jacob T. Levy is an American political theorist and Tomlinson Professor of Political Theory at McGill University. Levy is the Chair of the Department of Political Science at McGill, as well as the coordinator of McGill's Research Group on Constitutional Studies and the founding director of McGill's Yan P. Lin Centre for the Study of Freedom and Global Orders in the Ancient and Modern Worlds. Levy is also a Senior Fellow at the Niskanen Center and the Institute for Humane Studies. If you ask me to rank the worst violinist, then I’m not going to pick the violinist who I know was a child molester just for that reason because that’s not what the words mean. Speaker is a job. “Worst Speaker” is an evaluation of performance in that job.

90 percent of my writing is about american law, history, constitutionalism and the overall political system. but dreher and the people like him (and frankly quite a few others) are basically incapable of seeing that.

yes, Rod Dreher, I too am infuriated that Jamelle Bouie is Black.

He goes on and on, naming names. And he’s not wrong. But what infuriates me about
columns like this is that writers like Bouie, who is black, have zero awareness of how

Nate had a big personality change, but I predict Alice won't. She'll get a little bit kinder to herself and to others, she'll end up joining the group hug, but she won't undergo as significant a change as (say) Jamie did in the first couple of seasons.
