Well, “we will drag you all down with us”, when lots of folks are facing even more danger today than the trans community is from Talarico Dems (how about those being held in concentration camps, sent to Eswatini or Gitmo, or killed by ICE?), is kind of being an asshole according to my worldview.

I think cis people do not understand that when we say “this will harm trans people” it’s because we are in communities that is constantly doing collective suicide watch for each other, and most of us know multiple people that did not make it. if we say “this will harm kids” we mean “kids will die”
It's all vibes man, politics is all vibes. If cis people gave a fuck about trans people, they'd be protecting us. As is, they care more about like, protecting a building than saving trans lives. Ending youth care *will harm trans kids*. There's no other reason the fascists are doing it.

It’s very simple and it’s been said over and over but I guess it needs saying continuously: if you deem one group too small to have equal rights you are enabling fascism, not fighting it. The people saying Dems are GREAT on trans rights are not paying attention and/or saying stuff like this.

Please learn that "you don't apply the same rules to yourself as you do to others" isn't "exposing" conservatives, and definitely not an effective means of shaming them. They are very intentional and deliberate about this! It's an exercise of power, of deeming themselves exceptional and superior.
