Mirror, mirror, on the wall.

If they had just looked up "pigna" in an Italian dictionary, they might not have had to send their Investigative Team on the hunt. But that would have been too easy.

"These other testimonies, they didn't meet a female Jesus; they didn't meet a soft or passive Jesus."

Julian of Norwich: "Our tender Mother, Jesus, He may homely lead us into His blessed breast, by His sweet open side, and shew therein part of the Godhead and the joys of Heaven."

"He had no form or majesty that we should look at him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him."

I guess Isaiah 53 has no more traction in Evangelical circles.

This ancient Greek figure from the 2,500 year-old Douris Cup looks uncannily like someone working on a laptop! 😲 💻

He’s actually writing with a stylus on a hinged wax writing tablet!

The technology has changed, the posture has not! 😂

This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead

The problem in the US, at least, is that no one seems to think they get COVID anymore.
UK: "NHS says 'don't do this' if you think you have Covid - cases on the rise"

🔸"People with COVID symptoms and a high temperature or feeling unwell should stay home"

🔸"If you decide to test and receive a positive result, adults should avoid others for 5 days and vulnerable people for 10 days"

One of the highlights of my career was teaching a group of Providence College students here.
For #AncientSiteSunday the #Hellenistic theatre at Pergamon, #Türkiye, built in the 3rd century BC, alterations were made in the #Roman period.

It's one of the steepest known ancient theatres. The capacity was about 10,000 spectators.
