one old the other things is that apart from the trauma, WFH was both good and bad for us in a lot of ways, coming back from WFH was often done in an intentionally abusive way meant to assert the authority of the bosses, and in the immediate aftermath the layoffs began

It's true that there's not much structural antisemitism in North America anymore but you know I'm not sure if it matters that the guys coming through the synagogue door with an assault rifle are in line with a structural system of oppression.

I can tell that games media is in a deeply unhealthy place when I see some of the most talented, experienced, and incisive reporters and critics in the space say they don't know how much longer they can keep on doing the work. The industry is hollowing out and the writing itself is suffering for it.
