After almost waiting a year, I finally received a copy of my FOI request to the provincial government of British Columbia about plans for passenger railway service along the Sea to Sky Corridor plus details about intercity bus service.

It's 2,000+ pages so this is going to be an ongoing thread.

It's come to my attention that some people still don't know the history of the Fraser Institute, and why they shouldn't be trusted.

While Canada may be promoting fossil fuels, much of the world and our potential buyers are moving on.

Communities and the climate pay a high toll when industry sticks to pollution instead of building renewables for all.

I know someone who was hit by a driver running a stop sign and had considerable injuries and the ICBC ghouls tried to bill him for damage to the car. No fault is basically a victim punishment scam and it should be abolished.
This is absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable. No fault must cover damages, and the idea that ICBC will just up and deny them immediately shows how it serves only to protect ICBC and not provide for Canadians who have been struck.

Gunn is a Canadian trying incredibly hard to be a MAGA American. He was part of BC Proud, which brought MAGA style politicking to BC. He can not be allowed into government.

To my mind, the most interesting thing about OneCity's council primary is you have two of the most "build more housing" advocates in the city in Peter Waldkirch and Russil Wvong running for the "build more housing" party

And a lot of the establishment is supporting a group that sidelines them

I can’t think of another provincial government pushing a study through academic peer review that was so visibly infested with undisclosed conflicts of interest and easily discernible methodological flaws — breaking journal rules.

This should be hugely alarming for the academic world.
I urge academics across the continent to push back on this serious breach of practice. Your work relies on the integrity of ethics, disclosures and peer review.

All three appear to have failed here — with immediate and deadly public policy consequences. 7/
