AI is wrecking havoc in education, and I had the opportunity to share my experiences with a New York Times reporter. Sadly, the comments from professors around the world are even more illuminating. Please vote for candidates who will help us regulate this beast. www.nytimes.com/2026/08/10/u...

Thanks to @major7mag.bsky.social for sharing my poem “Smoke”! Grateful for their fun publication.
Inhale deep to "Smoke on the Water" • Deep Purple by Kathryn Kysar and feel the wild desperation between girlhood and what we believe we should become when we leave it. 💜

This is a devastating interview.

Scott Pelley tells the NYT that Bari Weiss directly put a “thumb on the scale” for Trump over the killing of Renee Good.

Here’s his explanation of exactly what happened.

Unbelievably chilling, shameful collaborationist behavior by a medical association

Ta-Nehisi Coates:

“We'll come out of this. And let me tell you something: If none of us are here to see it, tell your children who the cowards were.”
This is an example of a scientific association censoring its members, real scientists, for defending attacks on science.

The police were called to remove the scientists for handing out hard copies of this editorial.
