i am very exhausted by disinformation about the cost of transition healthcare. it costs less than $100 for 1-2 years of hormones, depending on your exact sourcing. presenting HRT as impossibly expensive and inaccessible to people who need HRT but don't know how is equivalent to medical gatekeeping.
Trans people needing hormones but lacking medical access for whatever reason: they're fairly easy and cheap to get elsewhere! See 🧵 by @katie.bzky.team ->

Hope is a spectacular movie! Things I haven't seen before; I imagine production designers feeling either excitment or dread at what they might be asked for next. Some flaws - some bad CGI, some odd plot arriving at the very end 🧐 but the people feel like *real people* & I was never bored 🤌🏼

Actually yes I have seen bats this cute, and you can too at the annual Minnesota Bat Festival, held every October. It's on Halloween this year! Come learn about bats, go on a bat walk, see some bats.
