Jurgen Klopp on Florian Wirtz, safe to say I’ll listen to him rather than supposed experts and so called fans going in on him!

If all your gonna do is slag off certain players then perhaps Liverpool isn’t for you

I make that six goal contributions from Cody Gakpo in around four full games of football. Almost as if he isn't as terrible as some people repeatedly told us he was last season.

Big Virg, when asked last night about Isak "struggling" last season:

"I think that narrative that he struggled last season is a bit strange. He had a broken his leg. To be off for such a long time is different than struggling last season. I think that narrative has to change". #LFC

The transfer window closes in a few hours…

I have never seen so much crap written about our club. So many fucking knowledgable experts around, and none of them have been hired by a big club for their incredible analytics, negotiating skills, or deep pockets. Amazing. 🙄

Stefan Bajcetic and Jayden Danns, should remind us all to be patient with young players at #LFC, especially in the Premier League. Both were played a bit too much, too early, and their bodies broke for YEARS!
Remember this when you say you want Nyoni or Rio starting every game. EPL eats players.

People are losing their shit because ITKs are throwing out whatever rumors or outrage/theories they can use to get clicks and monetise on the naive. 100s of posts recycling the same fluff and hoping something sticks. It has been like this for years, but you get caught in the web everytime. #LFC

Modelling Post-Save Rebound Sequences with Hidden Markov Models
Goalkeeper data analysis is one of the hardest things I have experienced doing in this space. So why do I keep challenging myself to do it…

These takes from the transfer texperts are getting more and more unhinged. 🙄
Mamadashvili is another transfer disaster by Edwards and his mate, Hughes. They've spunked a better part of £30M on a goalkeeper who is in no way suited to how we play. What a disaster. Edwards owes his reputation and career to Klopp and Ian Graham. What a fraud. #LFC

Yes, #LFC have nearly always done pre‑window signings, mid-window signings, and last‑week business, but the textperts will have you believe it is suddenly bad planning. It is part of the pattern, not a crisis. The coach prefers early signings but the window is rarely linear.
Curious as to whether we are seeing a change when Liverpool do their transfer business within transfer windows, so I produced this. This includes major signings (so far) that have played/will play notable first-team minutes.

This place is becoming unbearable for #Redsky content.
It is like they are always desperately looking for something to be outraged about. And there is nothing better for the collective outrage than finding that one thing or person to aim it at. FSG, Hughes, Gakpo, Wirtz, etc. Rinse and repeat #LFC

Arguably the most beloved figure in today's extremely divided America is gone.

I don't think you could find one person who had something bad to say about her.

This world is by far a worse place with her no longer in it.

The article says #LFC should be concerned about Alisson, but makes the case on one blunt metric, Save %, from a 2025/26 season he spent largely injured. That is cherry picking. Save % and xGA is so vague for keeper stats alone. 1/
This piece on Alisson is worth a read.

Obviously, one match can only tell you so much, but the underlying numbers are pretty striking. His reputation is well earned, but perhaps that's made it easier to overlook some things.
Why Liverpool might be concerned over Alisson's recent performances | Flashscore.co.uk
When teams and/or individual football players don't come up to the standard expected, invariably it's always the manager who carries the can.

To all those complaining about Richard Hughes:
—I trust him to know what's going on more than I trust you. He has data analytics, budgets, requirements, and knowledge of the negotiations. You don't.
—We can't just spend £Ms and violate PSR like Citeh.

I despise him & hate how many people constantly quote him or talk about him. His behaviour around the death of Jota & André, when he tried to get as much money from it as he could, should’ve been enough to stop all #LFC fans from paying him any attention IMO.
