The way these pieces are framed is egregious. This isn't reasonable, rational "criticism." It is straight up Islamophobia, which, tbf, is always part of how the US responds to 9/11.

I want to make sure everyone in the city is aware that SUNY Downstate operates a large and extremely skilled LGBTQ and gender affirming care clinic, and we have repeatedly reiterated our intention to go to jail before we stop.
