Why are some HCMV glycoprotein B variants much more fusogenic than others?

Check out our new #mBio paper with the Marco Thomas lab, where we identify structural determinants regulating gH/gL-independent fusion across gB variants.

Our colleague Hannes Vietzen and our department head Elisabeth Puchhammer-Stöckl established an amazing blood test for #MultipleSclerosis.
❌ #MultipleSclerosis ➜ A #MedUniVienna team has developed a #bloodtest that can recognise the risk of the disease before first symptoms appear. 🩸🧪 This could allow measures that the onset of the disease can be delayed or prevented. ⬇️
