This makes me hopeful. This number is aspirational but nowhere near out of reach: a working professional could realistically cash out their 401k and buy off a public official. Owning a senator is more attainable for most Americans than home ownership.

Scalpers calling themselves "Small Business Owners" is fucking sickening.
I'm not much of a Pokémon person, but my son is & trying to buy him cards at retail prices has been nigh on impossible the last couple of years, and I refuse to pay scalpers for anything. So it warms the cockles of my heart to see so many of them having a full meltdown about the recent set. Enjoy!!

a massive benefit of polyamory, in my experience, is that when there is already abundant love in your life, you become much more aware of when a new connection isn't quite right/isn't meeting your needs, and are less likely to settle for something unsatisfying/incompatible

if that sounds crazy and unreasonable to you, just remember that for trans kids it’s the compromise position. if we put cis kids thru what trans kids in half the country have to deal with, they’d be forced to take cross-sex hormones until 18, when they’d finally be allowed to transition to cis.
