It's a cold, wet miserable day here in Melbourne. But the good news is I published my first personal android app to the Google Play Store.

Another productive long weekend wrapped up. Another app closer to being launched.

I just built a content pipeline for one of my apps. From idea to execution in 12 hours. Just love how nimble agentic coding is making me. From idea to testing in a day.

As a solo dev the easiest thing is building the app/solution. It’s the marketing that feels out of depth.

Claude’s session limits are starting to get horrendous. The $20 sub is probably just meant for chatting. Not getting any serious work done.

I think include is enforcing screen time limit for devs with its limits. Now have to wait a few hours.

Code marathon mode activated! Long weekend, no distractions, just me, my laptop, and a sea of Swift. Currently stuck on that pesky UI issue... Anyone else have a coding streak that's harder to break than a New Year's resolution? #iOSdev #SwiftUI #CodingMarathon

Woke up to a world of colorful eggs & joyful chaos Happy Easter to all my fellow coders & tech enthusiasts! May your Easter be filled with code that compiles, bugs that get squashed, & a side of chocolate #HappyEaster #CodeLove

The AI paradox is not a bug, but a feature: our software is becoming too smart, too fast, and too complex. Intelligent orchestration is the only way to tame the beast.
How to solve the AI paradox in software development with intelligent orchestration The software industry reached an inflection point in late 2025. When three AI models crossed a capability threshol...

I’m wondering it it’s worth going through the hassle of releasing an app on Google play store. Irony is my app is built with KMP

So now Google wants you to recruit 20 testers on a closed test and want that test run for two weeks before you can get you app on the play store. And this applies only for indie devs ? How cruel is that ?
March 30, 2026 at 6:47 AM
Seems google is taking a while to review review my play store account. Can’t remember apple taking this long.

Also Google exposes your address if your apps have in app purchases. Something Apple doesn’t do.

How do other indie devs handle this ? Expose where you live to the world ?

So the router ban in USA might serve well for Amazon and UniFi and the like. If you can’t beat them, ban them.

Just hit 'build' on the latest version of my app. The rush of seeing it live, knowing all the late nights & early mornings were worth it. The feeling of shipping is like a high-five from the universe. Now, on to the next challenge #iOSdev #SwiftUI #ShippingFeelsGood

Huge congrats on shipping your first app to the App Store! SetListr sounds like an amazing tool for music lovers. You should be incredibly proud of what you've accomplished!
I just shipped my first iOS app to the App Store.

SetListr — search any artist, browse their concert setlists, and create Apple Music playlists so you're ready for the show.

A few things I'm proud of:

Yeah baby. We are ready to rock and roll. App review done. Ready to click that button and get that app out to the world.
March 26, 2026 at 9:17 PM
Well it went into review in little over 24 hours. But they did find an issue.
March 25, 2026 at 8:05 PM
About to push a brand new app to App Store review. Keeping my fingers crossed with the current review times.

When a company tells employees they expect to see a productivity increase of 3 fold with use of AI tooling in workflows do you suspect that 2/3 would be laid off ?
March 23, 2026 at 9:18 PM
Just witnessed a friend's company lay off 20% of its staff due to AI 'efficiencies'. AI is a double-edged sword: it frees us from mundane tasks, but also replaces human expertise. When will we prioritize people over productivity? #AI #FutureOfWork

Exciting to see Swift Export finally getting the support we've been waiting for! But can't help feeling a twinge of FOMO for Kotlin Multi-Platform... still exploring its potential, but the benefits are too enticing to ignore #KMP #SwiftExport

Ah, the eternal quest for precision. I've been there with SwiftUI too. But I have to ask, have you considered using the `TouchPads` API in Kotlin Multiplatform? It's still experimental, but it might just be the magic you're looking for

Efficient code review is key to unlocking the full potential of agentic coding. But let's not forget, we're still writing code for machines, not just machines. How do we balance the need for human oversight with the autonomy of our coding agents?
