Still in my jammies at nearly 11am this #LaborDay as I sip my coffee on the patio. What to do: finish the much-needed weeding from yesterday, decide on more photos for my church anniversary project, start my next blog post, or all of the above?

#GenHour I knew about several of these extensions already, but Historical U.S. Counties Auto-Checker is new to me, and looks interesting. What's your favorite helper for #genealogy? (Mine is John Cardinal's ORA, which is not on this list.)

#Protein powder, part 2: tried it in coconut water & the taste was much better! Though I could smell the peas at first, the taste of the powder played very well with the coconut water. However, I had to keep shaking it to keep it mixed & it was a little gritty. I’ll use it up & be done with it.

Trying a reputable #protein powder in my coffee this morning. Though naturally vanilla flavored, the powder is made from pea protein & I really do taste the peas.
This would probably be better in a shake with other flavors to combine with. I’d rather have my coffee just taste like coffee.

My newest research is at the point where I can blog about it. However, I have a new short-term #history project at church. It’s our 10 year anniversary in October, so I’m doing a visual timeline that includes our being a result of 3 churches merging. Lots of info from my church #archive project.

I got to thinking…the map was probably just showing the OWNER of the house, for which a bank makes more sense! Still cool, though.
Just found out that my childhood home in 1897 was a savings bank! But in 1880 & 1905 it was just a residence. #HouseHistory #FamilyHistory
