Mike Macdonald is the first coach to have a 10-game winning streak before age 40 in the Super Bowl era.

It's a pretty good list of pre-Super Bowl coaches who did it, too: George Halas, Paul Brown, Don Shula, Curly Lambeau, Guy Chamberlain and, uh, Earl Potteiger.

On JP's final bullet point, a reminder:

The Patriots offensive linemen were tipping whether their plays were runs or passes with their stances in the Super Bowl, which probably contributed to Drake Maye facing a distressing amount of pressure and Will Campbell looking so overmatched.

When NFL teams reduce to 53 today, dreams for some will end - yes, I know this happens in many contexts, not just sports, but every season on this day I remember the times I sat with players who were in tears - many teams handle this with compassion, all teams should.

Wharton must be one of the most risk-free potential big transfers in the Premier League. Just can't see a situation where, further down the line, he's not considered to have been worth the money for the team that signed him.

Fourteen years ago, HBO's 'The Newsroom' laid out the truth about voter ID in this segment.

It’s striking how little the arguments — or the tactics — have changed. Still a solution in search of a problem.

History doesn’t repeat itself — it gets rerun.

Dolly Parton looked out for everyone, especially our children. We’ll remember her as a trailblazer, a singer, a movie star — and Illinois families statewide will remember her through her Imagination Library.

May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her.

A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs.

Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year.

If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.

This sentence stands out - "Just over a quarter of the 32 NFL teams haven't done an early first-round pick extension since 2014." The Patriots are one of the nine.

Some thoughts on the chart

Top 10 cornerbacks are drafted early in the draft.

Christian Gonzalez is the second youngest Top 10 CB.

The Eagles nailed it in 2024.

Denzel Ward has been good for a long time.
