As usual standard caveats apply here: everyone needs to eat and house themselves, almost no acts have no moral negatives at all, other people may not understand or agree with your politics, there are lots of grey areas.

I think the lesson of the day, which almost all minority people understand, is that you just don't get to be apolitical. And you particularly can't be apolitical by complying with a blatantly political instruction when you have near infinite money and freedom.

People love historical what if scenarios. What if JFK was never assassinated? What if the Nazis won in WW2? A scenario I never see discussed is what if the aids crisis didnt decimate the gay men of America in the 80s-90s? Its easy to forget 1 in 15 gay boomer men died. An estimated 300,000 deaths-
