On the whole audio book debate, there are pros for both

I suspect that @joshjohnsoncomedy.bsky.social is spot on that AI is not actually in danger of killing humanity, but is in fact running low on cash and needs the threat of regulation as an excuse to their shareholders.

Good lord it’s not a hard concept to grasp and literally every single poor person on earth has lived through the boots theory. In business tech circles we have a saying that has symmetry with this theory “buy cheap buy twice”
