The one thing that bothers me most about this Carbon Credit debate within the Greens. I doubt it moves a single voter whichever way they vote. Everyone I've mentioned this debate to has looked thoroughly bored. On the other hand they have all brought up Trump's promise of $5000 dollar cheques.

Formalising the NSW Government's commitment not to sell offsets created by the INFM method to coal and gas companies is such an egregiously low bar that it is genuinely astounding to see the federal Government somehow hit its head on it.
I thought it was genuinely surprising and good to see NSW at the very least say the koala park offsets won't be used for coal and gas - but now the federal government is actively resisting an effort to actually change the laws to ensure this happens

The imminent announcement of a comprehensive trade ban on Israeli settlement goods (and hopefully) services by the UK should be considered a landmark victory which comes decades too late, the bare minimum which every so-called two stater should have advocated for in 1976 rather than 2026.
