This is what happens when asylum seekers are demonised. Absolute shame of it. If we like to think of ourselves as “tolerant” (awful word - for people fleeing conflict? We “tolerate” them?) country, there should be zero tolerance for such attacks. I hope the 100 are arrested asap.

While fires rage in large parts of Europe incl UK, farmers face crop failure and livestock loss, every RefUK or Tory politician on the news must be challenged on their "let's do away with costly net zero nonsense" stance, side-by-side with live images of the cost of inaction. Expose the charlatans.

Reform UK are up to their neck in scandal.

Serious new information has come to light, opening up yet more questions about donations made by George Cottrell and his associates. Frankly, it stinks.

I've written to the Electoral Commission to draw it to their attention.

This is awful to watch. These poor women…. so unnecessary from Badenoch, achieves nothing for the victims.
It’s pretty grim seeing Badenoch exploit the victims of these terrible sexual crimes. The Tories did nothing to alleviate the pressure on prisons during their 14 years in government. We didn’t hear a peep from her then. Meanwhile, Burnham has already said he is pausing early release. She is awful.

This could very well be the most important story in politics for the last decade and a half.

Please read and share this equally harrowing and illuminating account by @carolecadwalla.bsky.social of just how dark the money in politics pit really goes.

Absolutely mind blowing.
Farage, the money launderer and me: a decade of denial
The Reform leader’s relationship with the UK media has enabled him to operate with impunity for years. This past fortnight, that impunity finally appeared to be coming to an end. Carole Cadwalladr, wh...

Just to recap:

Calling Nigel Farage “an unflushable poo” = dehumanising hate speech.

Calling for hotels housing asylum seekers to be set on fire = guest of honour at party conference.
