I don't think it's true that the world is dimmer with Dolly's passing, though I understand the sentiment. I believe Dolly left a light that will shine brighter forever. She spent a lifetime lifting up and inspiring every person she met and millions more she never did. Her light endures.

If someone asked me to define my cultural heritage, I would respond I am "from the Southwest" I think that there is a regional shared culture in the Southwest as distinct from other parts of the US. It took moving away from the Southwest for me to realize it though.
I'd be interested in some thoughts from Americans on here on an idea:
